In partnership with Strong Roots
I’m super happy to have discovered Strong Roots – a health food brand on a mission to revolutionise the frozen food category and reduce food waste by offering a healthy, convenient solution for time-poor shoppers. Their range consists of a variety of frozen veg and tasty veg packed burgers and bites.
As you know I’m all about making from scratch but sometimes it’s fantastic to have a convenient healthy option in the freezer right? I always have frozen veg and fruit in the freezer and I’m really excited about Strong Roots frozen avocado halves – genius!
I’ve had the pleasure of trying most of the range and they are seriously tasty! I particularly like their kale and quinoa burgers, great wrapped in a buckwheat flatbread with hummus, avocado and lots of greens.
I decided to use the super handy frozen avocados to create a delicious protein and healthy fat packed pea & avocado dip. And you’ve got to have some fries to dip in right? Bring in the yummy oven baked sweet potato fries! I roasted some extra veg and made some delicious rye flatbreads to create a veg packed platter which can be eaten with or in the flatbreads. Yum!
A bit more about Strong Roots:
The whole range includes: Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, Garlic Roasted Sweet Potato Chunks, Kale & Quinoa Burger, Ripened Avocado Halves, Mixed Root Vegetable Fries, Spinach & Pumpkin Burgers, Beetroot Wedges, Beetroot & Bean Burgers & Spinach Bites
They’re available at Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose, Wholefoods, Ocado & Amazon Fresh.
I'd love to know if you made this recipe.

Did you know that I have a new cookbook?
It's called Rebel Recipes and I'm so proud of it. If you like my recipes I know you'll love my cookbook - It took me over a year to develop (and years in the making) and it's packed with deliciously vibrant veg packed recipes!

Looks and sounds like an amazing company! I LOVE mixed root vegetables and sweet potato fries, plus I am always looking for a good veggie burger! Your pea and avocado hummus looks absolutely beautiful as well. Never tried pea hummus, but I can only imagine it tasting amazing!

Amazing! The flatbreads were easy to make and delicious. The combination of the roasted vegetable and the hummus with the flatbread was sensational. I struggle with lunch ideas but this is perfect. Thank you
