I’m very happy to have teamed up with one of my favourite brands ‘Snacking Essentials’ – they have brought out a fabulous new ‘Wholefood’s range that is available now at The Food Warehouse by Iceland Foods.
I focused on their wholesome Californian Walnuts and created three delicious recipes incorporating them to show how versatile they can be.
The first is this incredible Chocolate and California Walnut cake with a ganache topping!
It’s absolutely delicious and made with wonderful California Walnuts. The cake has a deep chocolatey flavour and packed with lovely California Walnuts – then the ganache topping – oh my goodness it’s so so good!
When baking recipes like these, the quality of the ingredients is vital in order to ensure the great taste of the finished recipe so it’s great to see that Snacking Essentials Walnuts have the added provenance of being sourced from California – a region renowned for producing excellent Walnuts all-year round.
This rich chocolate and walnut cake with a ganache topping, a pasta dish with basil and walnut pesto and a spiced apple and walnut cake with a crispy crumb topping. All three recipes are vegan and are super easy to make
