The Warehouse Cafe -Vegetarian cafe in Birmingham

The Warehouse Cafe is a homely vegetarian & vegan cafe in Digbeth, although it has modest surroundings the food is delicious & always presented beautifully.

The menu has some classic veggie options such as Dal’s, Falafel’s & Veggie Burgers which are all really tasty, but also has some lovely salads and daily specials.

Just before Christmas I popped in and sampled their Christmas menu, all I can say is that it was delicious!

I shared a starter of pumpkin and chestnut croquettes with roasted garlic and carrot puree which was very tasty. The croquettes were sweet with a crispy coating, with a carrot puree on the side.

Followed by ‘Pearl barley risotto’ with ceps, truffles & crispy caramelised leeks. The risotto itself was creamy, comforting, not to trufflely and really delicious. For me the combination of creamy risotto with crispy leeks was fantastic.Barley Ristotto, the warehouse cafe
Although I don’t usually have dessert the  ‘Christmas pudding ice cream’ (vegan) was just too tempting. Again, delicious, gooey & totally indulgent! (A bit on the large side for me but I somehow squeezed it in!)

I would totally recommend the Warehouse Cafe, super tasty vegetarian food in friendly, informal surroundings.
