In partnership with Waitrose What does Christmas mean to you? Family time, food, giving and receiving? For me it’s definitely about coming together and sharing good food with family and friends. So I was really excited to be invited to the Waitrose #ChristmasTogether supper for an early Christmas celebration – and what a feast it was. When I entered the Bull & Last I found a gorgeous Christmas scene with a huge table laid out for a feast. We had a wonderful evening of good food, cocktail making (gingerbread martinis, amazing!), lovely conversations with some old and new foodie friends. The feast I absolutely loved the roast carrots and parsnips. To celebrate the launch of Waitrose’s new Christmas TV campaign #ChristmasTogether they will be running some fantastic competitions across their social channels. There will be lots of ways to get involved (and win some wonderful foodie prizes such as Kitchen Aid mixers, Champagne and hampers) over the coming weeks by sharing your Christmas moments on your social channels and tagging #ChristmasTogether. Thank you so much Waitrose for inviting me to such a wonderful event. Definitely feeling like Christmas now ????
Once again we’ll be heading off to the monutains in Spain for the Christmas period this year. So there will be long walks in the mountains and speading time with our friends for big shared meals – Catalan style. But I do miss the traditional British Christmas and food.
Think big platters of roast veg, tempting canepes, squash ravioli, beetroot risotto, bubbles and the desserts were just incredible. Moca cheesecake with Remy Martin Cognac – say no more.
